COMMUNITY + OUTREACH
Community Outreach
Building connections, sharing resources, and making support easier to find throughout our community.
SAAP connects with individuals, organizations, campuses, professionals, and community partners throughout Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties.
WHY WE SHOW UP
People cannot use a resource they do not know exists.
Every conversation, resource table, presentation, and community partnership is another opportunity to make survivor support more visible.
OUTREACH IN OUR COMMUNITY
Meeting people where they already are.
Outreach gives SAAP opportunities to introduce our services, answer questions, share resources, and build relationships throughout our four-county service area.
Community Events
Resource fairs, health fairs, festivals, family events, and other community gatherings.
Colleges + Schools
Campus activities, resource tables, student events, awareness programming, and educational presentations.
Professional Partners
Connecting with law enforcement, healthcare, victim services, behavioral health, and other professionals.
Community Organizations
Building relationships with nonprofits, businesses, agencies, and community groups.
MORE THAN A RESOURCE TABLE
Outreach is about connection.
A conversation at a community event may be someone’s first introduction to SAAP. It may also be the moment someone realizes support exists for themselves or for someone they care about.
Our goal is to make it easier for people to know where to turn before they ever have to search for help during a crisis.
Visibility creates another pathway to support.
When people recognize SAAP, our helpline, and the services we provide, help becomes easier to find.
