MEET K9 AUTUMN

Meet Autumn.

A friendly face, a calming presence, and one very special member of the Sexual Assault Assistance Program team.

Autumn helps bring comfort, connection, and a little extra warmth to survivors, outreach events, and communities throughout our four-county service area.

PART OF THE SAAP TEAM

Sometimes support comes with four paws.

Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. Having a calm and comforting presence nearby can sometimes make an unfamiliar environment feel a little less intimidating.

Autumn is part of SAAP’s efforts to create welcoming, supportive spaces while helping our community become more familiar with the services and resources available to survivors.

A FAMILIAR FACE IN THE COMMUNITY

If SAAP is at an event, Autumn may not be far behind.

Community events give people a chance to learn about SAAP before they ever need our services.

Autumn has a way of drawing people over, starting conversations, and helping us introduce our program in a warm and approachable way.

SUPPORT CAN LOOK DIFFERENT

Sometimes a quiet moment matters.

Everyone responds to difficult experiences differently. Some people want to talk. Some may need time. Others may simply appreciate having a calm presence nearby.

Autumn is one small part of the supportive, survivor-centered environment SAAP works to provide.
